Registered Survey Party

demanding job, a drug test and/or a physical exam will be required.)
Job Summary:
The registered
survey party chief supervises a field survey party engaged
in established highway control points, securing information for
the design of highway projects, and determining the locations
of right of way and easements. Responsibilities are performed
under moderate supervision. High School Diploma or GED,
plus required coursework in land surveying. Licensed as
a Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Missouri. Four
years of experience in route surveying.

Conditions/Job Characteristics:
Job requires moderate
physical activity. Job requires exposure to moderately adverse
and undesirable environmental conditions. We
anticipate one-third of the registered survey party chief's time
will be conducting deed and monument research; one-third will
be involved in preparation and review of deeds; and one-third
will be field investigation and verification of survey data.
