Phase one is from just east of Route 71 to just west of Lumpkins Fork Creek. Contracts for the second and third phases may be let simultaneously, if that proves beneficial. Phase two connects on the west end with phase one, extending east to Horridge Road. Phase three goes from Horridge Road to west of Route 291. Anticipated schedule: Right of way acquisition is expected to begin in mid-2007 and be completed in 2008. Begin construction phase one fall 2007 Begin construction phases two and three fall 2008 Completion Oct. 31, 2009 This project is being funded in part by money made available by the passage of Amendment 3 in November 2004. This project is part of a series of projects to improve Missouris highways in the southern Jackson and northern Cass county area.
