The Route 47 widening project in Troy
Part of the project included widening the Rte. 47/Lincoln Drive intersection and adding signals. In addition to the widening, MoDOT incorporated signals at Rtes. H and J into the same contract.
A cooperative partnership with the former Transportation Development District in Troy and MoDOT, the projects cost was $1,636,625.85 with half funded from $900,000 collected when the TDD existed. The project was awarded to N. B. West Contracting Company of Brentwood, MO. The signal installation at Routes H and J cost $176,432.72 and was financed with MoDOT District 3 safety funds.
