*I-64/40 Reconstruction – The following lanes will be closed as part of the I-64 reconstruction work between December 1, 2008 and December 7, 2008.
Gateway Constructors has two major impacts to traffic to report.
First, the southbound I-170 ramp to Eager Road will shift back to exit from the right lane of I-170 sometime some time during the week. Watch for message boards and signs alerting to the change. Southbound I-170 will have the left and center lane for eastbound I-64 and the right lane for Eager Road.
Second, beginning the week of December 1 and continuing the week of December 8, Brentwood Boulevard will be restricted daily to one lane in each direction between Eager Road and Red Bud, under I-64, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Each day the work will begin by closing a lane in the southbound direction during the morning rush. Then crews will close a lane in each direction through most of the day. At the end of the day crews will reopen two lanes of southbound but have only one lane open in the northbound direction during evening rush. Traffic back-ups are expected so use alternate routes or flex your commute times. Crews will be milling, resurfacing and widening Brentwood under I-64 for the new intersection with the I-64 ramps. This work must be completed before the west half opens on December 15.
Monday, December 1
- From 7 a.m to 5 p.m., one lane of southbound Brentwood Boulevard will be closed at I-64. At 9:30 a.m., a northbound lane will also be closed.
- From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of Lindbergh Boulevard will be closed in each direction at I-64.
Tuesday, December 2
- From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. one lane of southbound Brentwood Boulevard will be closed at I-64. At 9:30 a.m. a northbound lane will also be closed.
- From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of Lindbergh Boulevard will be closed in each direction at I-64.
- From 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. one lane of Lindbergh Boulevard will again be closed in each direction at I-64.
Wednesday, December 3
- From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. one lane of southbound Brentwood Boulevard will be closed at I-64. At 9:30 a.m. a northbound lane will also be closed.
- From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of Lindbergh Boulevard will be closed in each direction at I-64.
- From 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. one lane of Lindbergh Boulevard will again be closed in each direction at I-64.
Thursday, December 4
- From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. one lane of southbound Brentwood Boulevard will be closed at I-64. At 9:30 a.m. a northbound lane will also be closed.
- From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of Lindbergh Boulevard will be closed in each direction at I-64.
Friday, December 5
- From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. one lane of southbound Brentwood Boulevard will be closed at I-64. At 9:30 a.m. a northbound lane will also be closed.
- From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. one lane of Lindbergh Boulevard will be closed in each direction at I-64.

St. Louis County
Route U (Lucas and Hunt Rd.) at Route 115 (Natural Bridge Rd.)- Various lane restrictions will be in place weekly as crews remove and replace concrete sidewalks at the intersection of Route U and Route 115. Signal and lighting work will also occur at this location. This project is expected to be completed by February 2009.
Route 364 between Harvester and I-270 - Nightly lane closures will be in place for stripe removal from 7:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. daily. Lane closures will also be in place for striping operations between 8 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route BA – Asphalt placement has been completed as of 11-12-08. Roadside development operations will continue this week. Lane closure may be required to perform this work and flagging operations will be used. Striping operations are scheduled for 11-20-08.
Route 30 (Gravois) at Geyer/Sappington Barracks – Possible lane closures on Route 30 (Gravois Road) during the day. New signals are fully operational. This project is scheduled to be complete December 2008.
Lindbergh Blvd. (Route 67) from I-70 to Manchester (Route 100) – The contractor is installing conduit and fiber optic cable on Lindbergh Boulevard for traffic signal networking. Work will take place from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday. This project is expected to be completed by May 2009.
Lindbergh Blvd. (Route 67) at Whitehall Manor Drive – The contractor is performing traffic signal reconstruction at this intersection. Work willtake place from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday. This project is expected to be completed by May 2009.
Lindbergh Blvd. (Route 67) from Elm Grove to New Halls Ferry Rd. (Route AC)– The contractor will continue curb and gutter replacement as well as driveway replacement on side streets from New Halls Ferry Road to Patterson Avenue. Work will take place from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Crews will not close any lanes. This project is expected to be completed by May 2009.
Gravois (Route 30) between Weber & River Des Peres, Lemay Ferry (Route 267) between Military and Reavis Barracks - Construction has started to install traffic signal interconnect systems. Lane closures are possible on Gravois between Weber and River Des Peres and on Lemay Ferry between Military and Reavis Barracks between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.Monday thru Friday.

Hampton Ave at I-44 to Sublette Bridge– Work is completed on the improvements to the eastbound on-ramp to Interstate 44 fromHamptonAve. Widening of the ramp and Sublette Bridge is complete. Some minor work on the Hampton Ave. bridge wall and abutment remains off the roadway during daytime and periodic nighttime work.

St. Charles County

South Outer Road at Jungermann Rd - This project consist of new traffic signals and will start the week of October 13th. Lane closures could be necessary.
Route 40 between Lake St. Louis Blvd and I-70 –Traffic is on the new Eastbound Route 40 lanes. Eastbound 40 entrance and exit ramps at the new Prospect interchange are open. Crews will also continue to work on the construction of the new eastbound 40 bridge of Peruque Creek at Lake St. Louis -- that bridge should be opened later this year. Crews have also begun construction on the new Westbound Route 40 lanes and continue construction on the south half of the bridge for Prospect Road.
- Crews have closed access to Eastbound Route 40 from Dauphine Road. Traffic wishing to access Eastbound 40 should detour to Westbound Route 40 to Callahan Road, to Prospect Road to Eastbound Route 40.
- Crews have closed access to Westbound Route 40 from Prospect Road for material staging and bridge construction. Traffic wishing to access Route 40 should detour through Callahan Road.
- Crews have closed access from Oak Bluff Drive to Route 40. To access the road, drivers need to take the Lake St. Louis Blvd. exit, go south to Hawk Ridge Circle and take a right. Take another right onto Freymuth Road, which leads to a newly completed extension that ties directly into Oak Bluff Drive.
- Crews have closed access from Cedar Creek Court and Hickory Glen Court to Route 40. To access these roads, motorists must use the new south service road and Prospect Road from the Callahan/Duello intersection.
Route 364 between Jungs Station Road and Jungermann Road – Paving has begun on the South Outer Road, North Outer Road, and Cinnamon Hills Drive. Paving will continue as weather permits. Drivers should watch for trucks entering and leaving the roadway between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm. Cinnamon Hills Road is closed at Harvester Road, the back entrance to Harvester Square Shopping Center, and the entrance to the US Bank. Woodstone Drive is closed at Haymarket Drive, and Centre Point Drive. Drivers should use alternate routes. This is part of Stage 1 Construction. Drivers should use caution as trucks will be entering and exiting the highway. This is the first section of Phase 2 Route 364. This job includes grading, concrete pavement, drainage, and a steel girder bridge at Harvester Road. The paving includes new north and south outer roads between Jungs Station Road to just east of Jungermann Road, and new Route 364 pavement from Jungs Station Road to just east of Woodstone Drive.

New Rte 21 from Old Rte 21 to Hayden Rd. - Old Rte 21 is closed at New Rte 21 for construction of the newinterchange. Traffic can detour the ramp bypass or Schenk Rd. This project consists of relocating Rte 21 between Old Rte 21 and Hayden Rd.
*Rte 61/67 (Jeffco Blvd) from Meramec Bottom to Route M – Construction is ongoing along Jeffco Blvd to install traffic signal interconnect systems at various locations. This project is scheduled to be complete January 2009.
Rte BB from Rte 21 and Rte 30 - Expect daily one-way traffic lane closures for cross drainage replacement Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm. This project consists of cross drainage replacement, roadway realignment at Old Baker School Rd. This project is scheduled to be complete by fall 2008.

Franklin County
Route I-44 Exit #225 at Sullivan, MO – This project is for bridge rehabilitation, optional pavement widening, and ramps at Exit 225 (Route 185/D) in Sullivan, MO. This project may begin this week, weather permitting, with shoulder work at Exit #225. No traffic impact expected this week. This project is expected to be completed by September 4, 2009.
Route 100 east of South Point Rd. to Route AT in the City of Washington -
Utility relocations and clearing and grubbing operations are ongoing. Also, blasting operations and constructing drainage structures continues. Work will begin on the bridge at Dubois Creek on Highway 100. From Route 100 to Old Highway 100, St. John’s Road will be closed from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Mon. through Saturday, until December 5, 2008. East 5th and Jones St. will be the detour routes. This project will widen Route 100 from the City of Washington going to east to Route I-44. The project is expected to be completed by late Summer 2010.
